D.J.'s Sportscards is a store in Renton that sells trading cards. I have gone there several times to look at the Pokémon cards sold there, and I would like to tell you a bit about them.

To start, you need to know where the store is. Like I said earlier, it is in Renton, but more specifically, it is at 314 Union Ave. NE Renton, WA 98059. The store sells both used and unused Pokémon cards, and I will cover both in the next paragraph. If you would like to know, the store was founded about 36 years ago.

Next, I will cover the sold cards. First, let's talk about used cards. Most of the newer cards range from twenty-five cents to around one dollar. There are many different cards there, and some of the ones that cost over a buck are conveniently sorted into different kinds of cards. Now, we will discuss the used cards. The ten-card packs that you are probably familiar with are sold there, so that’s one way to stock up on random cards. If you have ever heard of them, battle decks are sold, and I just recently bought one that I had never seen before, so it should be fairly new.

When I was interviewing the owner, he made a point to tell me that he is a Christian and that he likes to treat the two hundred to five hundred customers he sees every day nicely. Some of his exact words were, “I’m a Christian, and I try to be Christ-like.” He likes his job a lot, even though he has a lot of things to do forty to forty-five hours each week. A few of these things are helping customers, selling items, buying new cards and such (i.e. card binders) to sell, cleaning out the store, making price cards to put on items, and dealing with employees.

Thank you for taking time from your day to read this article, and I hope that you will at least consider going to this store to buy some new cards to add to your collection or to start a new one.
